It's the afternoon of a live studio recording of Rose Red Radio's
sitcom "Dinner With The Borgias".
In 16th century Florence Leonardo Da Vinci pays for his paints with
his inventions. Machiavelli's demanding another war machine for his
employer - and he doesn't ask nicely. The last thing Leonardo needs
is Lucretia Borgia as a dinner guest - if someone offends her
they're likely to find arsenic in their soup.
In the Green Room before the recording, half the cast hate the other
half, and most of them hate the producer. It doesn't make for a
happy company. In fact, by the time the cast members are ready to
record the show, it's open warfare, turning a madcap script into
pure farce.
